Free Crochet Pattern Doll Shoes

As a crochet enthusiast, one of my favourite things to make is doll accessories. Whether it’s a cute little hat, scarf or shoes, it’s always satisfying to know that the pieces I create will be added to a child’s favourite toy. Today, I will share an easy crochet pattern for doll shoes that can be made in no time!

Materials

• Yarn of your choice

• 4mm Crochet hook

• A tapestry needle for weaving in ends

Instructions

1. Begin by chaining 7 stitches.

2. In the second chain from the hook, make 1 single crochet (sc). Sc in each chain stitch across.

3. Chain 1 and turn work. Make 2 sc in the first stitch. Sc in each stitch across. In the last stitch, make 2 sc.

4. Repeat step 3 until you have 16 stitches.

5. Fold the piece in half so the sewn edges are together. Cut a new piece of yarn and sew those edges together with a slip stitch.

6. Next, cut a piece of yarn for the strap. Mine measured 10 chains long. Slip stitch to the front of the shoe and make 1 sc in each chain stitch back to the start of the strap. Tie off and weave in ends.

7. Repeat steps 1-6 for the second shoe.

And there you have it! A simple and quick pattern for doll shoes that can be customized in any colour to match your child’s favourite doll outfit. These shoes fit a 10-12 inch doll, but can be easily adjusted for larger or smaller dolls. Make a whole shoe collection for your child’s favourite toy and watch their faces light up with joy!
