Here is an easy crochet pattern for a doll’s purse:
Materials
- Worsted weight yarn in the color of your choice (about 50 yards)
- Size H (5mm) crochet hook
- Small button
- Yarn needle
- Scissors
Pattern
- Chain 14.
- Single crochet in second chain from hook, and in each chain across. (13 sc)
- Chain 1 and turn. Single crochet in each stitch across. (13 sc)
- Repeat step 3 until your piece measures about 4 inches long.
- Fold your piece in half and slip stitch the two sides together. (This will form the bottom and sides of your purse.)
- Chain 20 for the strap. Slip stitch to the other side of the purse to attach the strap. (If you want a shorter or longer strap, you can adjust the number of chains as needed.)
- Fasten off and weave in ends.
- Sew on a small button on the front of your purse, about an inch away from the top edge.
- To close your purse, loop the strap around the button and your doll is ready to carry her belongings!
Note: You can also add embellishments, such as flowers or ribbons, to your purse to make it even cuter.
